Community Service Award
The Ottawa Glandorf Rotary Club began a Community Service Award in 2006. Through the spirit of Service Above Self, The OG Rotary club recognizes and honors a resident of Ottawa, Glandorf or Putnam County who makes a difference in their community. The honoree cannot be a Rotarian and is selected because of outstanding community/public service.
Private citizens, elected officials, or anyone who has provided service beyond self can be nominated for this award. (no self nominations). The criteria is based on commitment, achievement, discipline, and team concept. This award is given annually.
