Welcome to the Official Website of

the Ottawa Glandorf Rotary Club

Statement of 2008-2009 President Gary Buckland:

The Ottawa-Glandorf Rotary Club is made up of approximately 45-55 members who, when combined with over 32,000 Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries comprising 1.2 million members worldwide, help form a global network of business and professional leaders that volunteer their time and talents to serve their communities and the world. Rotary's motto, Service Above Self, exemplifies the humanitarian spirit of the organization's members. Strong fellowship among Rotarians and meaningful community and international service projects characterize Rotary worldwide.

The Ottawa-Glandorf club is active in annual projects such as a local College Scholarship program (called OG Rotary STRIVE), an annual county-wide Literacy project for 3rd graders, enhancement of the Ottawa Memorial Park, community service award and assistance with several international humanitarian projects.

If you would like to know more about our club we would be happy to have you join us at one of our weekly meetings on noon Wednesdays at Henry's Restaurant in Ottawa. Please browse through the pages of our website and it would be a pleasure to hear from you anytime.

Yours in Rotary,

Gary Buckland, President   gbuckland@wcwood.com   419-523-5422
